About Art in Motion
Art in Motion Dance Education is a Calgary business dedicated to sharing the joy of dance with local schools. We offer many dance residencies, but specialize in Arts-Centred Learning, Creative, Contemporary and West-African dance. As a small company, we are able to customize our residencies to suit each school's needs.
AIM offers a positive and inclusive program that fosters creativity while building movement skills in your students. We recognize the innate joy in movement that we were all born with, and we strive to create a class culture where this is encouraged and celebrated. Students have opportunities to explore their creative voice, and find successes throughout the residency. Your students' experience is our first priority.
Our staff are very approachable and enthusiastic! Each instructor holds a degree in dance ensuring a depth of knowledge not only in movement, but the moving body as well. All have several years of experience, and are mentored in Arts-Centred Learning by owner Jennifer Mahood.
Art in Motion is listed on the CBE artist roster, and all instructors are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
